The Northern Line’s sonic aesthetic is melded from the band members’ common love of the hooks of Britpop, the textures and landscape of shoegaze, and the rhythms of Manchester, all polished up and brought into the moment by modern pop sensibilities. Based out of Boston with a sound that reflects the world, The Northern Line produce music that takes you on a musical journey through sonic textures, soaring vocals, and hypnotic and grooving rhythms that guide the way.
The Northern Line urges everyone to raise a fist, bang a drum, and get on the indie dancefloor. Lead singles “Lightning Strikes” and “Throw A Fist” set a tone for their self titled debut EP, out digitally and vinyl summer 2026.
LOVINA FALLS Described by The Boston Globe as “joyfully unclassifiable” and “elegant baroque pop drama,” Lovina Falls crafts a lush, genre defying sound that blends art rock and dark dreampop with indie noir and post punk textures. Their music is rich with layered harmonies and a dynamic interplay of electronic and organic instrumentation. Fronted by Valerie Forgione, former vocalist of Boston’s Mistle Thrush, whose vocals, praised for their emotional depth and ethereal power, have drawn comparisons to Bat For Lashes, Fiona Apple, and the Cocteau Twins. The live seven piece ensemble features fellow Mistle Thrush alumni Alice Lee Scott and Matt Klain, alongside Chuck Ferreira, Eddie Japan and Greg Hawkes, Carrie Ingber of Northern Line, Laura England Klain of The Daylilies, and Brenden Cobb.
