Aaron Lippert, the Boston-based rock vocalist who fronted Expanding Man to a Columbia/Sony deal and a Billboard-charting hit (“Download (I Will),” from The Cable Guy soundtrack), is returning to the stage with new music. Beyond his own band, he’s lent his voice to recordings by Bleu (the Spider-Man soundtrack), The Click Five, Peter Wolf, and Eddie Jobson. He’s back with a stacked lineup: Ed Valauskas (bass), Bill Guerra (guitar), Magen Tracy (keys/vocals), Mike Piehl (drums), Amy Fairchild (vocals/guitar), and Thomas Juliano (guitar). It’s less a comeback than a reunion of some of Boston rock’s best.
